Customer Reviews

There's not much to say about this, other than it does what it was built for. Sturdy, metal construction, aperture ring works great. Connects my Nikon glass securely to my NEX3, 5 and 5n. Greatly useful, inexpensive accessory.

I was at first hesitant to order this adapter from Rainbow Imaging for their quoted low price since many other adapters were much higher priced ,and therefore feared that the unit from Rainbow Imaging would be inferior in quality. As soon I received the adapter I gave it a tryout and was surprised how good it was built. It was a good fit between lens, adapter and my Sony NEX-3. The adapter worked with both my Nikon "G" and "D" lenses but don`t forget one has to focus manually. The only problem I have is with the lens release button on the adapter . It is very hard to press the little lever down and it feels as though it hanging up on something but I`m getting used to it.For the price I paid,I am not complaining. Just hold the camera steady or use a tripod ,since one has no vibration reduction, and one can get some great pictures.
