I bought this item for my sony nex 3 camera operates awesome for these up close shots from far away. Considerably improved price tag than the 799.00 for the sony zoom. I got this and the tamron af70 -300mm and they are genuinely outstanding. Was a small skeptical at ordering am I glad I did. saved me $500.00 atleast.
I was not so certain, but this adapter operate putting my tamron lense on my sony nex three camara :)
