So I purchased this camera last week and took it on a five day trip to Arches, Bryce Canyon, Canyonlands Nation Parks. It was terrific! We took video, pics, and everything. I sold my Nikon D80 and bought this and amongst the two, I assume the pictures are substantially nicer on the NEX C3. My only gripe is that the battery could last a tiny longer. I purchased a major 16GB card and I have to charge the battery about three-four instances in order to fill the card now. So it would be great to have a small additional juice on the battery.
The camera is super compact. I read all types of reviews, watched videos, and so on.... but was not ready for how tiny it was once I held it in my hands. I have pretty large hands and it was a tiny weird to hold simply because of it. It wasn't a deal breaker by any means, but one thing to be aware. It is tiny. The weight and key bulk of the camera is the 18-55mm lens that comes with it, and not the camera body.
