When you order one thing like a tough drive enclosure from a second-tier manufacturer for such a low value, there are particular expectations: shoddy workmanship, poorly translated manual, baffling packaging, poor style, etc. I'll confess I had these expectations, but I did not expect it to matter -- I wanted this enclosure for 1-time use, to clone my Macbook's current drive onto a new (higher capacity) drive ahead of installing it.

It came beautifully packaged in a box with a nice small manual (with photographs and clear English), a carrying pouch, USB cable, installation screws, and even a screwdriver! As other reviews have talked about, the included cable is a y-cable to allow a high-speed drive to draw power from two USB ports if required. This is the kind of thoughtful packaging you expect from high-finish consumer electronics, not a cost-effective one particular-time-use drive enclosure. The enclosure itself is strong aluminum and just barely bigger than the 2.5" drives it is designed for. It has a sleek, simple design and flawless construction -- there's no flex to it at all and not a single rough edge.

Following assembly I plugged it into my personal computer and began transferring about 75GBs of data with out any troubles. The HD stayed quite cool and the transfer was particularly quickly. All in all I am quite pleased with this item and would hugely advocate it to everyone seeking for anything that is very simple, low expense, stylish, of superior top quality and performance.
